Counselling
and Psychotherapy
Counselling/Psychotherapy/
Transpersonal Couselling
Recognizing that all individuals, couples and families are unique
and have a wide range of experiences, we have created a variety
of services and programs to help you find answers to your personal
problems.
What
is Psychotherapy?
The word psyche comes from the Greek word meaning the soul. Therapy
comes from the Greek word therapeia meaning healing. So, quite
literally therapy is a healing for the soul.
As you can imagine healing for the soul takes a long time. Psychotherapy
is not a quick fix. It is a long term process that involves a
commitment to working through, on a deep level, unconscious processes
and organising principles that have become deeply embedded in
our minds and affect our everyday lives.
Psychotherapy
provides an opportunity to talk and process in complete confidence.
The emphasis
is for you to find the answers within yourself in a secure and
accepting environment. In the
process of psychotherapy you may come to see patterns from the
past and notice how they impact your life.
What
can you expect?
Psychotherapy
provides an opportunity to talk to someone in complete confidence.
The focus on the sessions may be to work through a particular
crisis or problem. You might be exploring feelings of inner conflict
and your ways of relating. The emphasis is on helping you to find
your own answers, within a safe and accepting environment.
Psychotherapy
works with the underlying patterns and how they manifest themselves
in your present relationships and life.
Counselling
The word counselling comes from the Middle English counseil, to
take counsel, consult. Counselling encourages self help as a resource
for change.

Transpersonal
Counselling
Transpersonal
counselling focuses on self-realisation through the integration
of the soul and personality. It works with symbols and qualities
where the spiritual nature of the person is expressed and given
direction within the life.
Our sense
of self and the world we inhabit is determined by our states of
consciousness. Transpersonal Counselling provides a platform to
discover one's destiny and begin to live it. It enables the unfolding
process for the development of consciousness and brings meaning
to life.

you gain from Transpersonal Counselling

deeper understanding of yourself and others.

stronger sense of purpose and direction in life.

access to personal resources.
